For the first time in my life, I actually donated to a political campaign.

I have spent a large part of my career in the sciences and feel we need a president who will actually face reality using facts. Joe Biden was not my first choice in the democratic field but I believe him to be a good man who will listen to facts and reason to guide his decision making.

Resilience as a person and a country must start with the ability to face reality and deal with the truth of a situation. You are entitled to your own opinion we all share in the facts. There are not “alternative facts” and anyone who tries to sell that is using confusion to sow fear and distrust.

We must recognize the true issues that plague us as a country today. Climate Change, Race Relations and divisiveness need to be addressed head on with solutions. We are more alike than we are different and we need to act like it.
